First American edition, early reprint with "Thirtieth Thousand" on the title page. Bound in publisher's original olive green cloth decoratively embossed and stamped in gilt. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, contents lightly tanned and occasionally foxed, else Fine, in a Near Fine dust jacket with light chipping at the edges, toning, and a scratch to the front panel. A stunning and bright copy, with sharp gilt no doubt protected by the dust jacket over all these years. A remarkable survival. Seller Inventory # 140944705
