Front board slightly warped. Clean unmarked pages, firm binding; light wear and rubbing to jacket surface and edges. John Thompsons paintings are, to say the least, amazing. They stimulate the imagination and conjure up visions, memories,sounds,smells and a myriad of other senses. The diversity of subject matter is also quite stunning, ranging from figures, street scenes, nudes, landscapes and portraits, to abstracts bold with colour and strength or fine and subtle. The book is packed with superb reproductions of the original works of art, which one will look at repeatedly, finding something different at each viewing.
