Fine, as new, in glossy color illustrated boards; no dust jacket, as issued. Endearingly illustrated from watercolors on every page by Martin Baynton. This up-lifting children's picture-book story features a frog who feels low and lonely in the morning and works his way up to fun and happy by the end of the day. Hoban wrote numerous award-winning adult books, notably RIDDLEY WALKER and the film adapted novel TURTLE DIARY.
