This novel was found among Hemingway's papers after his death in 1961 and published thereafter in 1970. A note from Mary Hemingway talks about how she and Charles Scribner, Jr, worked together "preparing this book for publication from Ernest's original manuscript.we made some cuts in the manuscript, I feel that Ernest would surely have made them himself." Aside from a minor wear on top of spine dj, it is in very good shape. the inside of the dj contains a summary of all of Hemingway's works. The Boards are lime green with gilt "Ernest Hemingway" signature and same gilt for title, author and publisher on spine!. Seller Inventory # 351
