1884, 1886. Monthly issues bound together. Volume I (432 pages) contains July to December 1884 and Volume II (also 432 pages) contains January to June 1885. Profusely illustrated with in-text illustrations but also full page half tone plates and some folding maps. We believe the magazine/journal ran until 1890. Half green leather over textured green cloth boards. Gilt titles to spines. All edges speckled red. Marbled endpapers. Volume one is quite worn and soiled with damp staining to the binding and to the contents at the bottom adjacent to the spine from the front to about half way through. Volume I could be described as a good working copy. Volume II is in better condition with superficial wear and soiling to covers. Light to moderate foxing to prelims but otherwise the contents are nice and clean. PLEASE NOTE: heavy books so extra will be needed for shipping to non-UK customers. Seller Inventory # VIMil006
