58pp. Printed on laid paper in a limited numbered edition of 1000 copies. This is copy #479. The first book from GCP to be printed in Golden Cockerel type. Engravings by Robert Gibbings. Green leather quarter binding with gilt lettering on spine. Top edge gilt. Green and white paper covered boards designed by Tirzah Garwood. Untrimmed fore edge and lower page edges. Sun fade to top and tail of spine. Clean and tightly bound pages. Laid in is a Notice to Subscribers from the publishers to explain changes to the print run due to demand for this book. Covered with the original glassine wrappers, toned with some losses and chips. All now protected in a clear archival envelope. Seller Inventory # 013692

The Bookshop at Beech Cottage trades exclusively via the internet. I acquire most of my stock through a network of suppliers based in southern England. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera.
