58pp. Printed on laid paper in a limited numbered edition of 1000 copies. This is copy #479. The first book from GCP to be printed in Golden Cockerel type. Engravings by Robert Gibbings. Green leather quarter binding with gilt lettering on spine. Top edge gilt. Green and white paper covered boards designed by Tirzah Garwood. Untrimmed fore edge and lower page edges. Sun fade to top and tail of spine. Clean and tightly bound pages. Laid in is a Notice to Subscribers from the publishers to explain changes to the print run due to demand for this book.
