About this Item
True first British printing with original unclipped (price crossed out in pen) jacket. Translated from the French by John Buchanan-Brown. Illustrated by Richard Kennedy. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a couple of very small (approx. 3mms) tears, pushing/rubbing to (mainly) head/tail of spine, few small marks, mild foxing, a couple of very small patches of loss, pushing/bumping to corners, patchy browning (including to spine), the odd small crease/rub to edges, little creasing/minor foxing to front/back inner flaps and is in only good condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor pushing/bumping to corners and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Small bookseller's sticker inside front board. Pages bit tanned. Very occasional small mark to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted. Seller Inventory # 008449
