First UK edition. Rose cloth with decorative gold gilt front, gilt spine and top edge. Orange decorative endpapers of reversed line drawings. Original dust jacket with line drawings front and back; 7/6 Net on spine. Some wear on dust jacket but all edges intact. Cloth boards fine. There is a brown mark on front and rear free endpapers from head to tail beside hinge probably from a bookmark. Some slight foxing inside as per usual. "So they went off together. But wherever they go, and whatever happens to them along the way, in that enchanted place on top of the Forest a little boy and his Bear will always be playing." A very good copy.
