An outstanding copy of this novel, the 5th in the Narnia series; this is the first US edition; the UK edition was the true first, although the first US appears to be much more uncommon than the UK in the marketplace. This copy is in near fine condition with only some mild shelf wear at the spine ends, else fine; housed in a clean and crisp original very good dust jacket that shows sunning to the spine (common for the title), minor rubbing and chipping to the spine ends and edges, and a couple of short closed tears to the edges.
