6 vols., 32mo (96 × 60 mm), [156pp. + 158pp. + 159 [1] pp. + 186 [2] pp. + 190 [1] pp. + 215 [8] pp.], half-titles and 48 fine hand-coloured plates, (8 engraved plates (one a frontispiece) to each volume), all with the original blue endpapers. Bound in the original Publisher's glazed red boards in imitation of straight grained morocco, with gilt ruled spines. An excellent and generally fine example of this rare miniature six volume set, which has the hand-coloured plates, from Delbare s Petit Bibliothécaire series for children. The individual volumes are very scarce (OCLC lists very few); the Bibliothèque Nationale de France holds a comparable set (does not say if the plates are hand-coloured) of these 6 volumes.
