First edition, first impression. Octavo, pp 341. Bound in orange cloth covered hard boards over cream cloth spine, and in the original dust jacket, which has been neatly price clipped to the top corner. Laid in is a vintage gelatin silver publicity photograph (12cm x 20cm) of the author printed in 1970. Henderson and the Rain King was Bellow's fifth novel. Very Good Plus book which has a small bookseller's ink stamp to the rear endpaper and is otherwise clean and unmarked, in a Very Good jacket which has just a little rubbing and short tears at the spine ends (with old tape reinforcement to the inside of the spine ends). Overall an attractive copy of this less often found book. Seller Inventory # B6203
