Covers & Spine: cloth boards are fading with scuffing and rubbing but overall quite clean with gilt title design in the centre, spine is faded with some flaking at ends but still intact and solid. Binding: reasonably firm throughout with weaving apparent between pages 16-17 & 48-49,back hinge starting to pull-away, no loose pages. Pages & Markings: some minor browning & staining on endpages, award inscription in ink on inside cover. PLEASE NOTE: research states that this book was first published in 1870 and the written inscription dates it at 1871, so I have claimed it as a 1st Edition. Very Rare book. Due to the size and lighter weight of this item, postage cost will be considerably less than what is quoted here. Seller Inventory # 000440

Books are shipped via Australia Post within 48 hours when possible, once payment has been accepted. Overseas orders are via airmail and can take between 10-20 working days to arrive; domestic orders usually take 3-4 working days. Charges are inclusive of all P&H fees. The rates are based on books up to about 1kg (about 2.2 lb) and occasionally I may need to seek a higher shipping fee if the package weighs in excess of 1kg.
