Dark blue cloth covered boards with lettering and elaborate decoration stamped in gold to front cover and spine with minor dulling to the gold around the edges of the front cover with no other rubbing or wear at all for what is a beautiful copy of the book. Original publisher's gray paper priced ($2.00) dust jacket with lettering and decoration printed in black to front panel and lettering printed in black to spine with very minor wear at the flap fold corners and one upper spine panel corner, minor darkening to the spine panel and a few small dark spots to back panel for what is a beautiful example of the rare original dust jacket. Top edge tinted blue. Pictorial endpapers by Rackham printed in brown with discoloration and offsetting. 291 pp. Jonathan Swift's timeless tale of an Englishman's voyages that carry him to such strange places as Lilliput, a land of people six inches tall; Brobdingnag, a land of giants; Glubbdubdrib, an island of sorcerers; and a land where horses are masters of human-like creatures. Illustrated by Rackham with 12 full color plates, two full page illustrations in black and white, and seven chapter headings and tail-pieces. The condition of both the book and the dust jacket is NEAR FINE. SCARCE in such nice condition; especially so in the original dust jacket that is in such nice condition. Seller Inventory # 000034
