A first edition of one of the earliest books on the RAF phenomenon known as Gremlins. Well illustrated with colour plates showing the different types of these mythical creatures and the ensuing havoc they can cause. Thought to be the influence behind Roald Dahl's book on the same subject this copy is generally in Very Good condition but has lost the top right hand corner of the front wrap which is also a little soiled. Title page inscribed to a previous owner. The staples have rusted and caused the wraps to become detached. The book has been stitched to compensate for this problem. Seller Inventory # 000165
