True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (7s 6d). Illustrated. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a few tears (largest approx. 2cms), creasing/rubbing to edges, a little patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), numerous marks, patchy browning, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, a few bumps/dents, browning/minor foxing/odd small mark to reverse (white side), browning/creasing/rubbing to front/back inner flaps ands is in only fair condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor pushing/bumping to corners, the odd very small mark, a little patchy browning and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages dyed green have the odd very small mark/scratch/spot of foxing. Rough cut page bottoms. Pages little tanned.
