Bookplate to endpaper, which has a small chip to corner. Age toning as expected to boards and text. A very well preserved copy of this important mystical text as it was first encountered. Text in period German. Two parts from the 1682 collected edition published in Amsterdam: Lebens-Lauff (Life's Course, a biographical piece) and Beschreibung der drey Principien göttliches Wesens, or "Description of the three principles of divine being," which comprises the majority of the text here, an important "theosophical" work in Boehme's oeuvre.
