39pp. Collection of thirty poems by Father Vincent McNabb with three wood engravings by Thomas Derrick. Printed on hand-made paper at St Dominic's Press in a limited, numbered edition of 480 copies. This is copy #130. Frontispiece portrait of the author printed on light grey art paper. Black quarter bound cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Dark grey paper covered boards. Shelf wear to top and tail of spine and also to board corners. Untrimmed fore edge and lower page edges. Gift inscription on ffep dated Christmas 1930. Inscriptions by previous owner on end papers - a two stanza poem and a 14-line poem. Laid in is a single sheet of water-marked hand-made paper printed black text with red titling. This sheet has been folded twice and contains prayers from a Latin Mass, including The Gloria, The Gradual, The Creed and The Offertory. Seller Inventory # 012853

My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit.
