Four volumes. Publisher's three-quarter morocco and cloth. Large thick octavo. A nice run of this classic publication comprising 48 monthly issues from Jan. 1865 to Dec. 1868 (Vols LXX - LXXVII). Each issue has its folding hand-tinted fashion plate. There are a total of 48 of them in this set. The issues also have sewing patterns, engravings, poetry, articles, recipes, editorials, sheet music and much more. The only thing which might be lacking from this set are some of the foldout sewing patterns although the one-page and color patterns all appear to be present. This is a very good set with some light rubbing and wear to the bindings. The contents are very good with some occasional light foxing and spotting to the margins. The color plates are all in excellent condition with no chips or tears. A few of them have some foxing or spotting in the margin but not many. The folding sewing patterns in the 1868 volume have some chipping at the top edge. Postage on this heavy set will be extra, especially overseas. Seller Inventory # 11923
