Front cover has a small chip at tip of one corner, else a near fine, bright copy. An uncommon publication in this 1915 first edition (the book was re-issued in 1925). The book presented to the "Los Angeles City Teachers Club to Create an Educational Fund to Be Used in Part for the Literacy Campaign of the California Federation of Women's Clubs". *BAL* 22674 (text entirely by Kate Douglas Wiggin; and published as a special issue of *The Bulletin* (Supplement), Vol. 5, No. 6, December 1915).
