First UK Edition. WITH SIGNED POSTCARD BY GERALD DU MAURIER. Publisher's green boards with gilt spine lettering. Boards exceptionally bright and clean. The book is in VG++ condition although foxed chiefly to the fore and top edges and to the early/late pages of the book including the half-title and title page. The D/W is priced 10/6 net to the spine (as called for) and is also in VG++ condition with a couple of short, closed edge tears to the top edge and with a small chip from the top right hand corner of the front cover.
