First edition, with dust wrapper. Red boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Board edges are thumbed and faded, therefore bearing a little discolouration. Page edges are well discoloured. Binding is neat and tidy. Head and tail of spine bumped. Free endpapers and pastedowns bear a strip of discolouration and foxing. Pages throughout are discoloured with age. Else book is in good condition. Dustwrapper bears some small creases, rubbing and scuff marks. Covers are browned and are lightly foxed all over. Edges are thumbed in between the occasion chip and small tear, else it is also in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
