Jacket designed by Kenneth Farnhill. 8vo. 255 pages, seven plates of b/w photographs and a map. Original red publisher's cloth with pale blue spine titles and circular device to front cover. A documentary of a year spent by the author in the Arabian Gulf, discussing Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Buraimi Oasis, Qatar, Kuwait; hunting and falconry.Printed dedication reads, "To the honour and glory of His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbut bu Sultan Albufalah, Ruler of Abu Dhabi".
