Octavo, [i]-xvi, 17-[576] pages. In Very Good minus condition. Rebound in blue cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Boards have mild edge wear and shelf wear. Title misspelled on binding. Text block has bookplate on front endpaper, heavy toning to original endpapers, light brown staining to forward pages, and mark in pen on dedication page. Early Printing indicated by final illustration numbered "211" on page xvi, "Hallelujah" with no comma on fifth line from bottom of page 246, period after "Dr. Jackson" on page 280, and no illustration on page 403.
