Some edgewear to laminated boards, the two lower front corners heavily rubbed; soiling shows on rear cream panel; front illustrated panel generally clean; undamaged plain red spine. Internally name and date on ffep (1917). Internally first six pages loose due to broken string; tipped in colour frontis offsetting onto title page; significant soiling on pages 6 and 7, largely absent thereafter; tight binding from page 7 onwards.
