About this Item
Green cloth. 12mo. 274pp. No dust jacket. Illustrated. First edition (stated) with "K-E" code on copyright page. This book, by Zane Grey's eldest son, tells the fascinating story of his opportunity to join his father on his fabled fishing boat to fish and explore the waters of New Zealand- the place Zane Grey described as "the angler's Eldorado". Romer Grey wrote one other fishing book and countless Westerns. He went on a number of his father's expeditions into the wild areas and also on many of his fishing trips. He was very much into hunting, shooting, and fishing. The book is illustrated with 20 black & white photographs. A good copy with some soiling and wear to the cloth. The spine is darkened and the spine tips are worn. There is some "flecking" to the front cover at the right side. The text is very good with some light browning and wear. The title page is browned in the margins. There are two small ink name stamps on the inside cover and flyleaf but no other markings to the text. The foredge of the textblock is lightly foxed. Scarce.
