Red cloth w/black lettering. Ex-library book. Shelfwear head and heel of spine, moderate scuffing to boards, two pinholes in spine, spot to front board, corners rubbed. DJ flap is glued to inside front cover, stamp on front endpaper, text very clean and nice, no marks. Spine starting inside rear cover, label scar inside rear cover. "A fire roaring through the forest threatened Dan Avery's lumber plant built up through the years of exacting toil. He stood on a hill and surveyed the struggle his men were engaged in. "A spectral scene, fabulous, unreal. A scene that might have been part of some lost satanic world.
