Armorial bookplate and inked inked ownership inscription of Henry Courtney Brocklehurst to endpapers. The first edition of a travelogue by British reporter and photographer Robert Scotland Liddell (1885-1972) documenting his tour of countries including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, India, Kenya, and South Africa. Henry Courtney Brocklehurst (1888-1942) British Army officer (killed in action in Burma during the Second World War) and brother of Sir Philip Lee Brocklehurst (1887-1975), Antarctica explorer and member of Shackleton's Nimrod Expedition.
