Set in Nice, Italy, this hard-boiled mystery is ripe with tough characters, including American criminals on vacation, a street photographer, a writer, an artist, and some seductive women. A nicely preserved collectible. Very tiny nick to the lower corner tips, barely perceptible bend (soft-crease) to the upper front corner tip, very slight spine lean, else tight, and very good plus to near fine in glossy stiff card wraps with un-credited cover art depicting two men in a stand-off with clenched fists and a sexy-looking blonde casually waiting and watching; original code G544 and .35c price still intact to the front cover; all page edges red.
