First edition, with dust wrapper. Brown boards with gilt lettering on spine. Board edges are well thumbed, rubbed and therefore discoloured. Head and tail of spine bumped. Page edges are discoloured and foxed, predominantly at the head edge. Pages throughout bear light discolouration. Pastedowns and free endpapers are lightly discoloured. Binding is neat and tidy. Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper. Otherwise this book is in good condition. Dust wrapper is thumbed, discoloured and well creased at the edges. Some scratches and scuffing of covers. Some small chips and tears at the head and tail edge, spine and rear edge. Corners and edges are a little scuffed. Spine sunned, else in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound. Seller Inventory # HUM036
