Quarter bound in publisher's green cloth over gray boards, gilt lettering on spine, blind-stamped lettering on cover. Despite his interst in the theatre, this is James Joyce's only published play. Rejected by Yeats for the Abbey, it did not receive a major production until that directed by Harold Pinter in 1970. Three after this publication, the publisher stated that only 388 copies had been sold. .
