1926. First edition. 63pp. Stacy Aumonier (1877-1928) was a British writer and stage performer, most highly regarded for his short stories. This book is a collection of fifteen essays on various subjects. Titles include: A Bullfight, On Pottering About, The Thrill of Being Ill, The Perils of Precision, Summer Melancholy, and The Absurdity of Facts. The book is bound in the original brown simulated leather cloth with gold titling on the spine and gold titling with blue and gold border designs on the front board. The case of the book is in very good condition with shelf wear on the boards and light bumping to the spine ends. The contents are tight and clean with scattered light foxing throughout, including some marks on the title page. A name has been written on the front free endpaper. Seller Inventory # gLitAumonier01
