About this Item
(non-pictorial jacket, later issue?) [spine a bit turned, top front corner bumped, very minor bumping to bottom rear corner, a bit of dust-soiling to top edge, one-time owner's name (partly blacked out) and date of purchase at top of front pastedown, otherwise very clean inside; jacket is heavily edgeworn, with various tiny tears and shallow chipping along top and bottom edges, minor paper loss at both ends of spine]. Novel set along "the dreamlike Florida coast still haunted by the ghosts of Ponce de Leon's adventurers." The author, born in Mississippi, spent most of his life in Florida as a college professor and short-story writer. (The jacket on this book is one of two variants I've seen; this one is non-pictorial, with an abstract pinkish-brown design.). Seller Inventory # 15196
