All BOUND AS ONE in likely contemporary full leather Inscription of owner at start of book. Clean tight text in sound covers which are a bit worn. Conscious Lover (1735) has a portrait on the tp and an engraving opposite; The Lying Lover printed at W.Feales (1736) also has its frontis. Full calf with blind stamping of boards, raised bands and spine label reading "Steel's Plays", Recent owners signature on front pastedown. However title pages of the of Conscious Lover and The Funeral absent as is the frontis of the author, if called for in this edition. The Tender Husband and Lying Lover complete with title page and frontis. Apart from losses in VG condiotion. Seller Inventory # 012376
