Sharply written account of a reformed criminal of jaw-dropping audacity and brilliance - the book both is a devastating indictment of the U.S. prison system and a true crime memoir that beats any I've read. It must be 20 years since I had a copy of this and that copy was a beat up paperback. It is VERY rare with only about four libraries worldwide owning copies, there are e-books only in other libraries (a sure sign of significance and rarity) the book itself has NO marks and is bright tight and except lightest trace of soil to page edges, pristine. The dust jacket is price clipped and has some very small edge chips but nothing much. There is some scattered soil, mainly on back cover and mild toning to dust jacket.
