Airforce Blue cloth boards with dark blue titles to spine, 190 x 130 mm approx. 206 pp. Undated [1950]. Collection of short stories. No printing history stated but mention made in prelims that the first story was published in 1939 and the remainder during the early part of the war. Flap fold cover price 6/- which accords with First Edition status and we therefore attribute as First Edition thus. Advert to rear flap fold for Short Sorties 7/6 which was first published in 1950. Very Good / Poor (Book- cloth a little faded to extremities with shadow marking of cellotape used to hold a protective library sleeve, end papers replaced by us - as originals were damaged by library pocket and ink stamp of same. Suggestion of foxing to fore edge of book block. No previous owner name or other private or public library ownership indicators. Dust Jacket - cut down and with some loss and associated line creases.
