Book of orange cloth with original bookplate on cover linking to the book s theme. Gift inscription inside front cover, else fine in dust jacket, which has two small stains on lightly sunned spine. The front panel is stamped "Advance Copy." In this bibliomystery by Agnes Miller, author of the Linger-Nots series, a young female bookseller in a staid rare bookstore discovers an unrecorded bookplate designed for an American client by the famous artist, Colfax, and murders begin to occur.
