Dust jacket a presumed first issue, with candid photo-portrait of McCullers leaning forward on rear cover of jacket, and cellophane used to enclose the circle on the front cover, and four blurbs on rear flap beginning with Tennessee Williams.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 241 pages.
