Containing the programs for the following plays: "The Open Door" by Alfred Sutro, "The Women Have Their Way" by Serafin and Joaquin Alvarez Quintero, "Romeo and Juliet" by Shakespeare with Burgess Meredith as a drummer, "The Cradle Song" by Gregorio and Maria Martinez Sierra, "The Sea Gull" by Anton Tchekov. Illustrated with photograph of Eva Le Gallienne as Juliet. Eva Le Gallienne and her lover Margaret Webster co-founded The Civic Repertory Theatre. A wonderful piece of theatre history. Scarce.
