Insc on fep for Dec 25th 1882. "Publisher" is from a label stuck over the original text on the title page, however Thomas Gray are the printers. Colour frontis, title page and 10 other full page colour plates. 47 full page b/w illustrations and numerous other in text and half/three-quarter page drawings. Each page of text has a coloured border that changes through the book. Boards bumped and worn at corners and edges, front hinge exposed and loose and hinge strained at other points. Old sellotape holding pages 1/2 in. Book otherwise very clean, just the occasional fingermark. Probably a prized possession. Covid 19 - Please see "More Information" for current shipping terms.
