This is Michael Foot's copy with his signature to the title page. Foot was once known as the owner of the finest Hazlitt collection in the country. The spine has two and a half inches missing from the surface at the base, a quarter inch piece missing at the top and the title panel has been lost. There is some cracking to the left edge of the front panel next to the spine but it is secure. The front and rear panels have quite a bit of edge rubbing with wear to the corners. The blue endpapers have been added at a later date and are in very good condition. The title page has some brown spotting and a small tear to the top edge. There is spotting to the pages throughout the book - this is heavy in a few places but generally fairly light. There are also a small number of annotations in pencil through the book. First printing. I will generally use whatever method is covered by the standard postage charge but if you specifically wish to have it sent surface or airmail or anything else please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly. Please only choose the cheaper surface mail option if you do not mind waiting - the suggested upper time limit for this form of delivery is 60 days and it can take that long - and sometimes a bit longer. If therefore you wish to receive the book in 2-3 weeks then please opt for the more expensive postage option which will guarantee airmail delivery.
