[The Census of Ireland for the year 1861 - showing the Area, Population, and Number of Houses, by Townlands and Electoral Divisions - County of Westmeath] A comprehensive breakdown of population, housing, land and land valuations in all the townlands in the baronies of Brawny, Clonlonan, Corkaree, Devlin, Farbill, Fartullagh, Fore, Kilkenny West, Moyashel & Magheradernon, Moycashel, Moygoish and Rathconrath as well as the various Poor Law divisions. The report also has comparisons with population and housing from ten and twenty years prior, in 1841 and 1851. The Irish Census' though the years provide a townland by townland interpretation of changing Ireland in the Nineteenth Century, and provide sobering statistics on the state of the country at the time.
