1916. First edition. 57pp. This is a collection of the following four sermons from the First World War: "The National Weapon" by Rev. J.A. Craigie; "The Nation at Prayer" by Rev. F.L.H. Millard; "God Our Refuge" by Rev. J.H. Williams; and "After Two Years" by Rev. Canon C. Ll. Ivens. The book is bound in the original purple paper covered boards with darker purple titling on the front board and spine. The case of the book is in good condition with shelf wear and some soiling on the boards. The spine ends and corners are lightly bumped and there is some insect damage to the paper around the top and fore edges of the front board and top corner of the rear board and the top and bottom 2" of the spine. The paper has split with some damage on the bottom 2" of the rear spine edge. The contents are tight and clean with no inscription. The free endpapers are browned. Seller Inventory # Net0791
