Bible black end papers, all edges of book block gilt, 150 pp + 2 of publisher's adverts, Laid on Chromographic plate frontis + five other such laid on plates with captioned paper guards, chapter head embellishments and line vignette end piece cherubs.Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition. Good (Book- shelf wear to cloth at extremities involving a little fraying of cloth and general shel soiling, ink gift inscription to reverse of front free end paper with a little smudging to half title opposite, occassional mild marginal finger soiling and a couple of page corners turned, one or two signatures a little proud at fore edge - indicating that glue to back strip is failing but sewing holding and no cracks to end papers).
