1966. First edition. 32pp. including 13 full-page coloured illustrations and a small illustration on the dedication page and last page. This is a beautifully illustrated story for the younger reader. It tells of Lucky Bumpkin who had an orange orchard which grew the biggest, roundest, juciest oranges in the countryside. It was from luck and for no other reason, that his oranges were so good because Bumpkin was lazy. The book is bound in the original paper covered board with titling on the spine and front board and an illustration on both boards. The book is in very good condition and the contents are tight and clean with no inscription. The unclipped dustwrapper is also very good with some shelf wear and light soiling. The spine ends and corners are rubbed. The dustwrapper is in an easily removed clear plastic protective cover. Seller Inventory # Child349
