349 Pages. Stated: First Ace Printing 1959. This is a well-researched piece of fiction about the wild frontier of Texas just after the Civil War. The book's exterior has wearing marks on all edges, two moderately worn corners and two lesser worn ones, some verticle reading creases on the spine and a verticle stain on either side of the spine as well as some wearing and a small bottom-right corner crease on the front cover, and some creases on the top-left quarter of the rear cover. The interior book, outside of the stain marks along the spine edge for the first pages, has no visible extraneous markings and other detriments or distractions throughout the book and thus all of its printing is in a well-preserved condition and the book remains well glued into its cover.
