The first edition of Conrad Aiken's Pulitzer Prize winning novel about a man's journey from America to England. The first edition of this work. In the original unclipped dustwrapper.front hinge is splitting although the binding remains tight, otherwise the book is internally clean & bright, although faded to the spine with a lightly bumped top corner. The DJ is rubbed to the edges, has a small closed tear to the spine, which is faded, and is chipped to the edges. Seller Inventory # 004639
