About this Item
A screenplay that is "little known & never produced,'' featuring the first appearance of the Black Doll. A FIRST EDITION, First Printing from Gotham Book Mart, Feb. 1973, in soft gray wrappers, stapled binding, 52 pages. The book is Fine: flawless! Completely clean, no rust to staples, pages creamy vellum-white & unmarked. The black paper DJ is downgraded to Near Fine due to fading that wraps around spine on each side about 2". 1 tiny scrape directly in center under the front pastedown featuring Gorey's illustration of the Black Doll, which itself is clean with no edgewear but a faint crease to bottom.
