Detailed description of the variety and capacity of storage facilities of this oldest Dutch company. Completely illustrated with pertinent b/w modern industrial photographs of the facilities in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, London, Hamburg, Antwerp, Basel, New York and Tandjong-Priok including a few reproduction of historic engravings relevant to the trade from the late sixteenth century and a trade toolbox. Wrappers with wear along edges, small one inch closed tear at front cover foredge, chips along spine, bumped at corners, light creasing and soiling. Block lightly age-toned.
