Originally published in 1934, this edition of the first Biggles book includes the original text from the John Hamilton first edition, the coloured frontispiece and 4 line illustrations from that edition, but also the half-tone illustrations from when the book was reprinted in Modern Boy. The dustwrapper is by Andrew Skilleter, Mint in Mint d/w. Seller Inventory # 004904
