Size of binding: 5 1/8 in. x 7 7/8 in., vi, 327 + pp., with 2 folding maps following p. 327; first map shows a few small creases at the upper fold. Bound in quarter, polished brown calf on spine, sides and corner-pieces, spine with five raised bands, black leather title label, with gilt title, gilt floral designs, borders on spine, blindstamped borders on sides, corners, with brown cloth over boards; top-edge gilt, gray-blue endpapers. Surface of the leather shows some light abrasion, wear, rubbing to cover edges. The binding is unsigned, but is from the 1910-35 period. Near fine: Interior is a clean, unused copy.
